For myself, a wooden dildo is an indulgence. They are luxury items, made of beautiful exotic woods, handmade and lovingly crafted, no two are alike. They are not only organic in material but also in shape. They have sensual curves and come in delicious natural colors (not dyed!).

At Hardwood Dildos by Hans, I was impressed by the range of woods: Apple, Celam, Cherry, Haitian Oak, Hornbeam, Mahogany, Maple, Mbuyu, Oregon Maple, Pau Rosa, Purple Heart, Walnut, White Oak, and Ziracote.

You can shop the store by your preferred wood, or your price range. Each and every dildo here is unique, with it’s own design. No two pieces are alike. I chose my dildo by type of wood as I far prefer the beauty of Purpleheart. It is a very deep purple/brown color. It’s stunning. I looked at all of the Purpleheart dildos and selected one for it’s subtle curve and pleasure ribs.

The dildo is much more beautiful in person, and it came with a soft velvet pouch to keep it in when not in use. I liked how easy it was to grip one end of the toy, and penetrate myself with the other. The way the round end popped inside felt fantastic, and the ribs were amazing. It felt so good to be filled up with a toy that warmed to my skin.

I far prefer a wood dildo over glass or other exotic materials. Wood is much more sensual to me, and I really like that Hans uses wood leftover from other projects to make these. It’s interesting to note that he carves each piece by hand.
