I was thrilled when I came across X-or, a unique toy store bringing you high quality products that you won’t find in your local sex shop. A product was brought to my attention by the lovely people at X-or, called the Audi-Oh. Now I’ve heard of vibrating bullets before, and tried out the ones that come in sleeves. I’ve even had a lot of fun with the kind that have straps so you can wear them like a pair of panties. However, I have never heard of a sound activated vibrating sex toy before! And that’s what this is!

The Audi-Oh consists of a silicone butterfly that is held securely against your clit and pussy with elastic straps that fit around the waist and legs. The butterfly is a sleeve, and a tiny bullet slides inside. The bullet is wired up so you can plug it into the Audi-Oh controller, a black box about the size of a pager.

Now the Audi-Oh controller has two dials on it. The first one acts as the on-off switch, and controls the intensity of the vibrations that are activated by sound. The second dial controls the vibrator if you simply want to use it like any other vibrator instead of using the sound activation. There is also a second plug provided, and if you want, you can use an adapter (not included with the Audi-Oh) to provide audio input from a device like a discman.

Now, I don’t have the adapter, so I used the Audi-Oh as a regular vibrator, and tested out it’s ability to react to ambient sound. First, I strapped the butterfly on tight so it was sitting snugly against my clit. The elastic straps are adjustable, and I was able to fit it perfectly. I was impressed with the fit… I could walk around and the butterfly stayed right where I liked it. Now I slid the little bullet into the sleeve and wired it up to the Audi-Oh controller. I turned it on and decided to make myself comfortable in bed when I happened to cough, and “OOoooo!!!!!!!”… the butterfly vibrated to life from the sound!

I had a great time singing, talking, and purring to myself, and found that the unit responded really well to sound. Softer sounds obviously didn’t work as well as loud ones, and I had a great time during a coughing fit. When I had a closer look at the Audi-Oh unit, I discovered where the microphone is, and blew on it. The butterfly buzzed away and reacted to my breath. After awhile, I wanted more constant vibrations, so I turned on the second dial that controls it as a normal vibrator, and buzzed myself toward a thundering orgasm. (P.S. Even better, you can use both controls at once, so you have a constant vibration, PLUS spurts of vibration that are created by sound!)

I think a girl could have a lot of fun with a unit like this. It isn’t incredibly quiet so you probably wouldn’t want to wear it under your clothes to the grocery store, but I bet you could get away with wearing it to the bar. The controller has a clip so you can attach it to your pants or belt… and everyone would probably think it was just a pager. In a loud club, orgasms would be guarenteed! I’d love to see someone wear this out and dance on the speaker or in a cage all night.

I think this little unit is fun, and it’s definitely more interesting than the usual vibrating units that a girl can strap on. It’s too bad it’s not wireless, but the tiny little wire doesn’t really matter in the bedroom, and would tuck under your clothes with little hassle.
